Robosys Automation’s CSO, Nigel Lee Presents at the SMI Annual Conference

Nigel Lee, Robosys’ CSO, was delighted to be invited to present and participate in the round table discussions at this year’s Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) Annual Conference.  

Chaired by Peter Collinson, the SMI Conference was held at The Millennium Point in Birmingham, with the theme of Driving Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Autonomy – the Role of the Maritime Supply Chain and Marine Science and Technology.

The SMI Conference encompassed interesting insights and discussions spanning National Shipbuilding Strategy to Driving Digitalisation and Autonomy.

Nigel briefed the symposium on Robosys Automation and its work with South Hampshire College Group for their Digital Training Vessel (DTV) and also Robosys’ commitment to helping drive the wider, international education and skills development around Maritime Autonomy, entitled “Supporting international talent & skills development for intelligent autonomous maritime operations”.
