Robosys Crowned Winner Of Prestigious International Partner Award

We are delighted to announce that Robosys Automation has been selected as the winner of the Maritime UK Solent’s prestigious International Partner Award.

The 2023 Maritime UK Solent Awards was the second edition of the event, and celebrated the successes and accomplishments spanning the pioneering and innovative regional maritime cluster.

Robosys was chosen as the winner of International Partner Award by an independent judging panel who were impressed by Robosys’ collaborative endeavours on a global scale.

Nigel Lee, CSO of Robosys was thrilled to receive the award, commenting: “We are immensely proud and humbled to be recognized for this award. Winning the International Partner Award is a true testament to the commitment we at Robosys have to our sector’s and our business’ collaborative approach to both national and global ambitions. Maritime UK Solent, together with the MRIC team at the NOC, together with the SMI, have provided invaluable support.”

The event was held at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, where over 300 guests came together to celebrate the region’s maritime successes. Robosys’ guests included, Tim Currass of SMI, Matt Johnson of the South Coast Institute for Technology, Naomi Smith of South Hampshire College Group, David Hull of HydroSurv, and Charmaine Richardson of MRIC at the National Oceanography Centre.

Maritime UK Solent selected the Portsmouth Sail Training Trust as its charity of the year. The charity is an inspirational charity partner, dedicated to motivating young people to reach their full potential through maritime training, qualifications, and mentoring.

Having discovered the incredible results achieved by the Trust, Robosys Automation has likewise chosen Portsmouth Sail Training Trust as its own regional charity.
