Robosys & HydroSurv celebrate myriad successes at Marine Autonomy Technology Showcase
Robosys and USV manufacturer, HydroSurv, are enjoying a highly successful Marine Autonomy Technology Showcase (MATS).
Drawing on representation from a global group of industry, academia, defence and other sectors, the MATS’ conference theme for 2023 is Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
As a leading expert in his field, Aditya Nawab, Founder and CEO of Robosys, provided interesting insights into Explainable AI, together with highlighting the specifics of Robosys’ groundbreaking VOYAGER AI maritime autonomy software, that features explainable decision aids through AI and XAI (also know as Interpretable AI).
The presentation was concluded by David Hull, CEO of HydroSurv, who showcasing how Robosys provided the solution for HydroSurv new USV, the REAV.
David Rowles MBE, Robosys’ Operations and Programmes Director, comments, “The HydroSurv REAV USV is a tremendous focal point here at MATS and is attracting much interest. The vessel is destined for SeaRegs Training, with the concept for this new model of USV developed through a tri-party agreement, with HydroSurv, SeaRegs and Robosys developing the USV to preceisely match the requirements, as it will be key to the SeaRegs’ new remote operator training courses.”
David continues, “We have been inundated with enquiries from a host of British and overseas operators and contractors of USVs and larger vessels. We look forward to furthering our discussions following the event.”
